Summer will soon leave Alversjö, and the final harvest of the year is waiting. The traces of Borderland are still visible as lines stretching across the fields.

The clean-up after Borderland went well, although more and more things seem to be left behind permanently each year - more pallets, more caravans, more containers, more plants and more gravel roads.

As autumn approaches, we return to life and work at home, continuing the renovation of the barn, the kitchen, and the bathroom. We are also planning to dig another water well close to the villa, so we can have access to drinking water in more places around the property.

Join this weekend of conversations, collaboration and collective dreaming.

This gathering is for everyone who wants to be a part of shaping Borderlands future, explore ideas, tackle challenges and connect with fellow community members. Bring your questions, perspectives, hopes, concerns and wild ideas.

The agenda will be created together on site, around the topics that feel most relevant right now, of those attending.

The event is free to attend and here is a suggestion for travel grants: https://talk.theborderland.se/d/6kM1CSVn/unconference-and-bl-focus-days-2026-travel-grants

Indoor sleeping space at HQ is available for around 15 people, and there is plenty of room for tents, vans, and caravans on the land. Drinking water, indoor toilets and showers are available on site.

We will share breakfast and dinner together. Please bring any snacks and drinks you would like in between.

There will also be another event in Alversjö the 2-4th of October with special focus on Sound, Placement, Power, Roads, Nature reserve. See more in the sign up sheet.
